Day by day

Day 1 : Reykjavík, Iceland

The expedition ship arrives in the evening at Longyearbyen. After days of solitude, this tiny town will seem like a large city. Longyearbyen is the northernmost... of everything! Longyearbyen is the most northern city on earth (excluding the tiny community of Ny-Alesund). Here are the northernmost airport, school, supermarket, and bank. It's rugged but surrounded with warmth and Nordic Hospitality. Norwegians call it "koseligt". You can enjoy exploring Longyearbyen after saying goodbye to the Expedition Team, crew and the ship. You will then be transferred to Svalbard Airport for your return flight to Oslo.

Day 2 : Crossing the Denmark Strait
As the Norsemen, we will cross Denmark Strait from Iceland to Greenland. You will not get bored at sea. Onboard, our guests can enjoy an array of activities to engage the mind, body and soul. Join your Expedition Team Lecturer for a specially-crafted talk in the Theatre on topics such as local culture and history, wildlife and geology. You can also relax at the Albatros Polar Spa with a massage.
