Villagers take expedition trip to Antarctica

Steve and Ellen Seckar, residents of Citrus Grove, were captivated by their recent journey, whether surrounded by glaciers or tropical beaches. They embarked on a three-week cruise in March that traversed Antarctica and Patagonia. Amid observing wildlife and kayaking among icebergs, they engaged with onboard scientists to learn about the region and its inhabitants. This blend of exploration and education ensured a memorable experience. "Every destination was uniquely captivating," Steve remarked. "We gained valuable insights during our time at sea."

Passionate travelers, the Seckars embrace each trip by hiking, biking, or simply relishing the outdoors. Having previously explored destinations like the Galapagos and Guatemala, they opted for an Antarctic and Chilean tour this time, aligning perfectly with their adventurous spirit.
